The lake at Tall Trees carp fishery located in Aspley Guise was created in the 1880s in order to extract the clay to produce bricks.
The original stock, added in the 1980s, is believed to be around 50 Common and Mirror carp weighing in around 5 - 8lb.
There does seem to be a bit of the unknown in relation to the size of the fish in the lake, which does make Tall Trees even more appealing in my eyes.
