Wintons Fishery

Wintons Fishery located in West Sussex is a specimen carp and catfish venue.

Consisting of three lakes that make up around 33 acres set in the picturesque countryside. The lakes are mature and contain some incredible carp and catfish allowing for many anglers to pick up new PB's when fishing this venue.

Wintons is a membership venue which can be applied for through their website, details below. Wintons recommend that only intermediate and experienced anglers apply for obvious reasons, these are big fish that must be handled correctly.

There are three lakes on offer; Kingfisher, Mallard & Heron.

Kingfisher is home to the biggest carp at Wintons known as 'The Pretty One' tipping the scales at 52lb 10oz. Followed by a fish called 'The Upfront' weighing in at 49lb 20oz. A real stunning lake that requires 5 years of experience to fish.

Mallard is around 4.6 acres and is home to a number of common and mirror carp over 35lb with some 40lb plus fish being caught recently. Mallard lake is also home to some huge catfish with many anglers landing fish over 60lb with the chance of even biggers catfish for that lucky angler.

Heron is a mixed carp and catfish water that is home to the biggest catfish known as 'Big Bad Barry at 98lb. Along with huge catfish, the carp are also big, being caught around the mid 30lb mark.
